  • The Whispers

I saw The Whispers in October 2024 at the Fox along with The OJays. They had their old videos playing on a big screen behind the band which was entertaining. The Whispers did just okay. Both twins were on stage but it was clear that one was struggling physically. They’ve aged like the rest of us so I give them some grace but we were expecting a little bit livelier (and longer) show. The OJays were on point though.

  • Get Well Soon!

    by N Maro on 10/27/24Rating: 5 out of 5

I purchased tickets to see the Whispers on Saturday, October 26th at "The Cannery"in North Las Vegas, NV. There was a band by the name of "In-A-Fect"that opened up and they were AMAZING! They covered songs from the 60's to the present, and their on stage presence was dazzling and very energetic! Vocals were on point. The Whispers band came out and began the musical introduction, but only two of the members came out (one of twins was not present). I thought Mr. Scott's microphone was not turned on as the band played "And The Beat Goes On"but he later asked the band to lower the volume and it was then he apologized and said due to illness he couldn't go forward. He did say that he came out because "You didn't let us down for 60 years, so we weren't going to let you down."Please focus on getting well and we will see you all again soon.

The show was excellent. Wished that the show lasted a little longer.

Hello, Considering how much I spent for the tickets, I did not pay to see/hear the band. Yes they are good but I came to see the Whispers. Show felt rushed and it stopped abruptly at 45 mins. Not good at all. I may have to reconsider going to see them again

  • Top tier performance

by Charm on 10/22/24Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

I haven’t missed the Whispers in. Concert since 1979. I see them every year and have seen them at the Birchmere for the past 3 years. Although it is now three members left, they didn’t disappoint. I hope Walter is ok as he left the stage abruptly and didn’t return. But I’m listening to their hits as I write this review. Top tier my favorite group! I love the Whispers!

My Husband & I throughly enjoyed the Show. I just wish they had sung “I Only Meant to Wet my Feet.”

  • Disappointed

by Rena on 10/21/24Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 2 out of 5

While they sung songs I wanted to hear I noticed they couldn't hold a note. What a disappointment for my first time seeing the Whispers. Looks like Walter was having a health issue. This happened to me before when I came to see Phil Perry.
