After the NBA Preseason kicks off in early October, the NBA regular season will tip off in late October 2024. There will be a break for All-Star Weekend, leading up to the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California. Once the season resumes, it will be a race to the finish — culminating in the NBA Play-In Tournament and NBA Playoffs, which are scheduled to begin in April 2025. The NBA Playoffs will be preceded by the Play-In Tournament, where the 7th through 10th ranked teams in both conferences compete for their spot in the playoffs. The NBA Playoffs will then take place starting in April 2025 and running until the NBA Finals begin in June 2025. They’ll feature the top eight teams from each conference competing in a best-of-seven series as they look to advance to the following rounds.
